My third show at the Yellow Barn Gallery will be the weekend of August 16 & 17.
The gallery will be open noon to 8 PM Saturday, with a reception from 5PM on, and from noon to 5 PM on Sunday.
About 50 paintings and drawings will be on display, almost all of which were done in the past few years.
Most are landscapes, based on my travels to Italy, France, Iceland, Portugal, and elsewhere — and a few were were actually done on site as I experimented with plein air painting. There are also portraits and a few abstractions. The works of art are all for sale, though making money isn’t the point — I’ll be donating the proceeds to a variety of local, national, and international charities. Mostly, I’m doing this to show you what I’ve been up to, and to see you when you come!
The gallery is located within Glen Echo Park, at 7300 MacArthur Blvd in Glen Echo, MD 20812
Directions to the park, and to the large free parking lot, may be found at this link: https://glenechopark.org/directions
Once you’re in the parking lot, it’s a five minute walk to the Yellow Barn — GPS should work if you need help.
Here’s a link to Google Maps showing the lot and the path to the Yellow Barn: https://tinyurl.com/mspxpdhm
BTW, there’s no charge for the show!
