This Jack o’ Lantern illustrates the climactic scene in H.G.Wells’s “The Man Who Could Work Miracles.” In this short story, a man who wanted to give himself more time to help people with his magical powers has stopped the earth’s rotation — but neglected to stop the rotation of *everything that’s on the earth*! I show the man’s horror at the chaos and destruction he has unleashed.
